Todd Allen has over 15 years experience consulting in technology and media. He taught e-Business in the Arts, Entertainment & Media Management Department at Columbia College Chicago for 5 years. His book on content monetization, "The Economics of Web Comics," is taught at the Savannah College of Art and Design.

Todd has an MA in Internet Business & Media Convergence from New York University, a unique degree combining coursework from the Stern School of Business, Interactive Telecommunications Program, Publishing department, and Media Ecology department.

His BS is in Communication Studies with a concentration in Electrical Engineering/Computer Science from Northwestern University.

An occasional journalist, Todd covered the Technology & the Arts beat for the Chicago Tribune as a freelance. For New York Resident, he covered the NBA's Knicks and WNBA's Liberty and also penned a humor column. He currently blogs on technology for Startup Grind and covers the comic book industry for Publisher's Weekly and The Beat.
